CCDC is a therapeutic private practice dedicated to helping all individuals realize their strengths and abilities through individual and family counseling. Using motivational interviewing, clinicians aid clients in strengthening intrinsic motivation and developing better coping strategies for life’s stressors. CCDC works with clientele of all ages and from all different walks of life.

Roody Joseph

Licensed Professional Counselor, M.Ed, LPC LADC

 

Roody has a Masters in Psychology with a dual concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling. He is currently licensed in the state of Connecticut as a professional counselor, and an addictions counselor.

 

Roody's focus is dealing with the adolescent population ages 12-18 and the issues they deal with in their every day lives. In working with teens, he tries to encompass all aspects of their life, including issues at school, home, and work.

 

Roody has experience working with adolescents involved with the juvenile justice system. Currently he is accepting Medicaid, Cigna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, and others insurances. Please contact us and we will inform you if we can accept your insurance.

"Two of the panelists at last year’s Straight Talk events, sponsored by The Depot teen center and the Darien Police Department, were mental health therapists Robert DiRoma, Jr and Roody Joseph. The pair opened a practice in Darien, the Counseling Center for Discovery and Change, last May. The practice is a response to a need they both saw for services in the community. They don’t keep conventional office hours and are instead evenings.."
